DARTS - Mulago reaffirmed its rating as the number one darts club in the country after winning the Inter-club championships for the third consecutive year in Mukono on Sunday. Buoyed by Isaac Oteba, Patrick Ochieng and Emmanuel Berocan, Mulago avenged their loss in the Inter-district event to Jinja by beating Earthquake 7-5.
Mulago are Super Cup holders and defending champions in the on-going league. Leisure Tec whipped hosts Mukono 7-2 to snatch second place in the second place play-off.

NETBALL - Kamwokya-based TLC has minimal chances of surviving the unbeaten defending champions, NIC, when the two sides clash Nakivubo today. TLC has lost both their games since the start of the second round. “We shall try everything possible to see that we don’t lose the game against the on-form NIC,” David Kalule, TLC’s coach said.

Mugisha trains for world meet

SCRABBLE - Edwin Mugisha enters camp today ahead of the biannual world scrabble championships due November 26 in Malaysia. The four-weeks training will be conducted by coach Richard Geria and manager Chris Ntege, according to scrabble association official Geria. Uganda missed two of the last four championships, according to Geria, because of insufficient funds.
