For the last two months, Bukedde FM and Vision Voice have been in a give-back mood, dishing out goodies to their listeners. Such goodies included free Lucky Dube (RIP) CDs to listeners who called in asking for his music.

The promotion was concluded last Sunday in Club Volts, Kibuye, where various reggae artistes converged to pay tribute to Africa’s reggae legend. It was a fun-packed event that also attracted several fans. The artistes put up exciting and overzealous performances as they expressed love for Dube. Kicking off at 6:00pm with popular and established artistes such as Bebe Cool, the mood was set. Kabuye Ssemboga had the opportunity to prove that his music is still popular. Other artistes included Rasta Charz and Junior Pliers.

The emcee of the night, Oulanya Columbus, earned himself rounds of applause due to his humour. As the party climaxed, everyone, including Bukedde FM and Vision Voice’s employees took to the dance floor.
