EXPRESS FC have a chance of returning to the Uganda Super League summit today when they visit Maji at Nakivubo. A good win will put David Otti’s side in position to spring past surprise package Firemasters.

The newcomers Firemasters beat Simba 4-1 to take charge of the race at the weekend and will only return to action tomorrow against Nalubaale.

Veteran Badru Kiyega and strikers Sulaiman Jjingo and Moses Ndaula are the pillars the Red Eagles will be banking on.

Kiyega’s maturity has come in handy in all Express outings while Jjingo and Ndaula have formed a devastating understanding upfront.

Simba will be out to make up for their home humiliation when they host Arua Central.

Elsewhere, Hoima will be out to prove that their wins over Iganga and Kinyara were not flukes.

Wasswa Bossa’s side gave giants KCC a scare in one of the league’s openers and thereafter kept impressing.
In Mbale, newcomers CRO FC host neighbours Iganga.

Iganga, who are yet to win a game, travel to Mbale where CRO coach Frank Anyau has worked hard towards a third win.

“I have instructed my boys to play their hearts out,” Anyau said.

“If they have belief in themselves, which I hope they do, we should be able to win,” noted Anyau after yesterday’s training.
There will be more action with Masaka playing host to Angelo Lonyesi’s Police.
