GUADALUPE is stunned by the news about Sebastian, but he recovers and asks Antoinette to leave. Sebastian is re-arrested. Amelia asks Catalina to leave Sebastian in exchange for his freedom. Eduardo tells the police it was Sebastian who tried to kill him. Amelia knows the truth and Eduardo is blackmailing Silvia to give him money for his silence. Catalina’s mother tries to convince her to leave Sebastian because he is poor and a murderer. Meanwhile, she is looking for rich husbands for Catalina. Although he is under strict orders from the doctor to rest, Guadalupe goes with Ramiro to the city to see Sebastian. Patricia tells Eduardo if he continues to blackmail Silvia, he too will go to jail for lying to the police. Eduardo confesses to the Police and Sebastian is freed. Catalina gives him a letter to read when he gets home. The letter says she does not love him and has gone away.

CARLOS Eduardo, with the help of Mujica, gets Luis Alejandro to open Consuelo’s safe to get the Don’s will. The lawyer reads the Will aloud. However, it is the false will, which names Consuelo as the heir. Carlos Eduardo attacks Luis Alejandro for hiding the real will. Alfredo tricks the Don into pressuring Luisa Fernanda to marry him. Rigoberta tells Luisa Fernanda what Alfredo has done so she confronts him. Carlos Eduardo is losing the battle with the Don so he wants to show him the death certificate of Consuelo, so that he knows his daughters are dead. The Don, however, wants to include his daughter ‘Amelia’ in his Will. Jennifer goes to beg Carlos Eduardo to take her back, but he ignores her. She follows him into the street, where she is stabbed by Solozano’s men who were supposed to kill Carlos Eduardo. The police arrive before the thugs attack Carlos Eduardo and they rush Jennifer to hospital.

EDELMIA’s henchman poison the animals on the ranch. Maria Teresa almost collapses when she finds the cattle dead. Simon is celebrating, even as he offers his help to Maria Teresa. Nani tells MarÃa Teresa that perhaps, Simon had something to do with the death of the cattle, but she does not believe it. Sibilia reveals her identity to Santos and shows him papers, which name him the owner of the storm. She asks him to avenge his wrongdoers, except Maria Teresa. Valentina has been moved to a psychiatric hospital because she has not come to terms with the loss of her baby. When the lawyer starts reading Ernesto’s will, Genevova rushes in to tell them that Ernesto is awake. While Maria Teresa and Nani are overjoyed, Simon and Isabella are furious.
When Isabella tells Simon that she knows where Valentina is, he says that she must be killed immediately.
