DOMINANT MTN Heathens head to Jinja hoping to register routine success in the Broadband Sevens Circuit at Jinja Rugby Club today.Heathens who lead the 2009 circuit with 40 points, 16 clear of Uganda telecom Kobs, G4S Pirates and Hima Impis who are all tied in second position.

Heathens will capture the Sevens circuit with one leg to spare even if they simply make the quarter-finals.

“It’s almost a done deal. We just need a few points to win the title but we are going for a win as usual. I don’t want to rule out Kobs and Pirates, they are still strong teams. We hope we can maintain the form and keep on the roll,” Heathens captain Brian Tabaruka stated.

Heathens who hope to add the Sevens circuit title to the Uganda Cup, Super 8 League and Hima Makerere 10 will be left with only the inaugural Super Cup to complete a 100% clean sweep of the 2009 rugby season. The Kyadondo will face G4S pirates in the Super Cup in Entebbe next week.

Coach Peter Magona’s side will be without injured Evans Kingasia (hamstring) Mathias Ochwo (knock) and Ronald Mwisaka (ankle) but they are unfazed.

The top two teams from each of the four pools will make the quarterfinals of the event sponsored by Broadband Company.

The Seven circuit will wind up with the fourth leg on November 28.
