ARMY side, UPDF started their handball league defence campaign with a bang, walloping Police 32-18 over the weekend at Police grounds in Kibuli.

ARMY side, UPDF started their handball league defence campaign with a bang, walloping Police 32-18 over the weekend at Police grounds in Kibuli.
The soldiers’ skipper Moses Akena netted a hat-trick while Simon Wasike and Patrick Odora stretched the difference.
Felix Mukunzi and Rogers Wanda scored a brace each for Police. The game went into recess with UPDF leading 15-6.
In the other men’s action, Prisons also beat Air Force 29-16. It was Prisons first victory this season.
In the women category at the same venue, Police revenged on UPDF, defeating them by a narrow but painful 17-16 margin.
