ALFRED Luseno picked 6 wickets as Premier gained promotion to the Castle Premier League by beating SKLPS at Budo on Sunday, reports Norman Katende.

Set 65 to win, Arthur Kyobe hit an unbeaten 29 and Kennedy Obuya 26 as Premier reached the target in 12 overs in their Plate League game.

In the premier league, Tornado’s Kibuuka Musoke picked 3 wickets for 28 runs and then scored 27 runs as they overhauled Rounders 137 run target with ease. This left Rounders at the bottom of the table and relegated to the plate league.

Roger Mukasa hit 106 runs off 86 deliveries as Nile overhauled ACC’s target of 203 with a wicket to spare to squeeze into third place of the league and a chance to play in the Championship trophy. Charity walked over Patidar, who did not turn up.
