ITwas a thrilling three hour rib-cracking Saturday night in Mbarara when the Barbed wire commedians from Theatre Factory paid them a visit.

The show started with Richard Tuwangye a.k.a Monkey playing NTV famous Clips of point Blank. It was clips of Ssebagala’s broken English and Minister for disaster preparedness and relief Prof Tarsis Kabwegyere’s failure to pronounce words like malnourished that drove the audience wild.

However, despite the announcements saying that the gates would be open at 6:00pm and the show would commence at 7:30pm, Richard curtain-raised with Point blank clips from NT at 9:00pm.

Revellers had to endure the very cold breeze from the nearby man-made lake of lake View Resort Hotel gardens

At around 9:30PM, the comedians took the stage and gave the best they could. Using most of the words in Runyankole-Rukiiga. With the likes of Veronica Tindichebwa, Gerrard Mbabazi, Richard Tuwangye and Hannington Bugingo, the revellers could not get anything better on Boxing Day.

It was a commercial break free skit.

However, it was Herbert Mendo, who stole the show when he stepped on the stage amidst aloud applause from the audience with his exceptional talent of mimicking President Museveni. In the end, there was hardly any complaint for the sh10,000 gate fee that revellers paid. The show ended at about 11:00pm.

One lucky winner walked away with a 21 inch TV courtsey of NTV.

The show was sponsored by, Club beer, NTV, Vision Radio and Lake View Resort Hotel.
