Julius Sebaketta of Nabbunga Fountains of Education School Kalisizo in Rakai district scored aggregate four in last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), writes Ali Mambule.

“I used to be the third or fourth in my class. I emerged first only once,” Sebaketta told The New Vision on Friday.

Sebaketta vowed to study up to university level and become an engineer.

“I have the zeal to make it and I am determined to achieve it with mathematics being my best subject,” Sebaketta stressed.
Sebaketta said his parents had a problem of paying school fees in time.

He added that he would ask them to sell part of their land to raise tuition for his secondary education.
“St. Henry’s College Kitovu in Masaka was my first choice and I believe it will help me achieve my expectations.”

Of the 50 candidates who did PLE last year, at Nabbunga, 41 passed in Division One, whereas nine candidates were in the Second Division.
