CHARLES Waisswa and Roger Mukasa have been recalled to the national cricket team that will take on a select side of Marylebone Cricket Club later this week.

CHARLES Waisswa and Roger Mukasa have been recalled to the national cricket team that will take on a select side of Marylebone Cricket Club later this week.
The London-based club arrives tomorrow, and will play a series of international games, including a three-day match at Kyambogo oval.
Waisswa and Mukasa were dropped from the national team for the Division II Cricket league in Namibia last year for indiscipline, but national coach Franco Otieno believes that he needs their services as he starts rebuilding the national team.
“I think they will help build a strong team. We have been practising in the evening but the weather has not been friendly and the turn up is also not good,†said Otieno yesterday.
The two replaced Benjamin Musoke and Richard Okia on the national team. The national team relegated from Division 2, has started build-ups for the Division 3 ICC tournament due January next year.
Musoke and Okia will be on the team that will play the one-day international, though the team might be changed as to when is required.
Davis Arinaitwe, David Musoke and Ronald Ssemanda will captain teams for the three day, one-day and Under-19 respectively.
