While Ethics and Integrity minister, Dr James Nsaba Buturo, might think Maureen Namatovu is a disgrace to this nation for taking part in the reality TV show, Big Brother Africa on DStv, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi of Buganda and his subjects must think otherwise.

While Ethics and Integrity minister, Dr James Nsaba Buturo, might think Maureen Namatovu is a disgrace to this nation for taking part in the reality TV show, Big Brother Africa on DStv, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi of Buganda and his subjects must think otherwise.

Maureen Namatovu was a special guest of the Kabaka during the opening of the Lukiiko (Parliament) at Bulange Mengo. Maureen, who looked resplendent in a traditional gomesi came in early and was ushered to the VIP section before the Kabaka Ronald Mutebi walked address open his new Lukiiko.

Like that was not enough, her presence was acknowledged by Charles Peter Mayiga, the Minister of Information and Cabinet Affairs in the Buganda government, who introduced her whimsically to members of Lukiiko as a “cultured Muganda girl.” The crowded murmured. Hhm!
