Ricardo buys Suraya a wedding gown. He hopes they will be married after a fortnight. Suraya is uncomfortable about the wedding plans but she still needs Ricardo to get Floresita back. When Fabiola finds out that Ricardo is planning to marry Suraya, she erases his files. He gets furious and tells her to leave the country.
Marina finds Juan Francisco and Suraya kissing. Marina tells Suraya that she knows her secret so Suraya confesses to Marina that she is Maki. Suraya tells Father Iginho that she still loves Juan Francisco who also tells his mother that. He is in love with Suraya.

Diego is sent to solitary confinement for getting into a fight with another inmate. Juan Francisco recovers the exporting licence after appealing to the board.
Fabian finds out that Bernardo plans to testify against him in court. He threatens Bernardo saying he would kill him before he testifies. Juan Francisco plans to divorce Angela. She demands for half his fortune. Miguel visits Diego in prison and threatens him.
Berenice’s baby, Ricardo Junior, is kidnapped from the hacienda. Jeremy, Aurelio and Juancho look for him at Matilda’s hacienda and they find Don Manuel’s body rotting in bed. Fabian turns against his mother and tells her to stay away from him.
Paloma makes a mark as the Mexican delegate during a meeting with other coffee-exporting countries. The other countries support her ideas. Paloma finds out that Diego is in prison. She rushes back to Mexico to help Diego. Will she succeed?

Carlos Raul returns to Miami and can’t find Maria Clara. He goes to Florencio’s house, where Maria Clara and her family are hiding but Florencio says he hasn’t seen them.
Barbara comes back from Hawaii and wants to know why Carlos abandoned her. He says he still feels inferior because of her high societal status. She asks Alexander to follow him and find out if he has another woman. Carlos tells Barbara that he is in love with another woman in Venezuela.
Maria Clara is working as a nanny for an exploitative family, she quits when she is accused of stealing. Erasmo hires her as an assistant at the gym where she meets Lisandro who gets attracted to her. Carlos Raul, feeling dejected, goes back to Barbara and pledges to work on their marriage. Amado tries to rape Maria Clara in the office and she stabs him. Elisa calls the police. Will Maria Clara end up in prison?
