Hon Rwakimari, what have you done to empower women in the district?

I have ensured that our health centres are well equipped to improve health service delivery, especially in the maternity wards. I have also set up income-generating activities for women groups, best PLE award scheme and a vocational school for those interested.

Hon Kakoba the roads in Buikwe are so bad. When will they be upgraded?

Most of the major roads under the Central Government have been rehabilitated, apart from the feeder roads, which are under the district and sub-counties. I am going to do a follow-up with the district authorities.

Why is PLE poorly done in Kabarole?
Hon Mwesigye, can’t you implement Boona Basome? The performance in PLE is so poor. What are you doing to improve the standards?

Our PLE performance has changed compared to the previous results. I have however, organised workshops for parents, teachers and the local leaders in all sub-counties to raise our education standards. I am also organising a fundraising programme through which schools will get necessities to improve on performance.
