KAMPALA International Cricket Club has recruited former national cricket captain Davis Arinaitwe and star all rounder Kenneth Kamyuka, ahead of the local season that starts with the Luswata Cup on sunday.

The club is fighting to qualify from Division II to top cricket league this season. Kamyuka played for Nile, while Arinaitwe was with the Wanderers.

Arinaitwe late last year relinquished the club captaincy before Wanderers was demoted to Division II.

Others who have switched clubs include Lawrence Ssematimba, a league winning captain with champions ACC. He joins Tornado B with clubmate Ronald Ssemanda. Charles Waiswa has left Tornado for ACC.
