THERE are all signs of a Super League photo finish.

With the top contenders KCC, Police and Villa locked at 61 points, it is still too early to name a clear favourite.

The stiff race continues today with KCC and Police hosting Biharwe and Masaka LC respectively in matches the giants should easily win.

Masaka have only secured one point from their last four outings, while Biharwe have three points from seven outings. They are currently locked at the bottom of the 18 team table with Maroons.

The statistics therefore signal a feast for the giants. The Lugogo side that currently tops the table on goal difference has, in a late surge, gone eight matches unbeaten.

Police have been at the top for quite a spell. But their draws with lowly Biharwe and Ediofe raised doubts about their form and also brought KCC and Villa back into the chase.

Conversely, Simba and Ediofe will be involved in a battle for survival. A win is a priority here for either side, in order to avoid the drop.
In yesterday’s action, URA’s Robert Okello struck twice as the tax collectors beat a ten man Express 3-1 at Namboole.

David Kazibwe opened the scores for the hosts but the Red Eagles equalised through Dennis Kyeyune. This result was short-lived as Okello went on rampage in the second half.

In Masindi, Victors fell to 5th as they succumbed to a second 3-0 loss in a row, this time from Kinyara.
