He might be operating below the radar lately since he left the state minister for environment portfolio but former Army Commander Maj. Gen Jeje Odongo’s light is far from extinguished.
Odongo has taken advantage of his political blackout to better himself in the education department and recently graduated with a Masters Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Nkumba University.
Could that be a pointer to where the General’s career is now headed — diplomacy? Meanwhile, at the same occasion, presided over by Dr Margaret Kigozi, the University’s Chancellor, Mohammed Kezaala Baswari Batwagaine, the mayor of Jinja town received a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance.
