BONIFACE Kiprop finished second in the highly billed Bupa Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday.

The 10000m Commonwealth champion has shown that he still has to work on his finishing sprint, after he was outpaced in the last 100m by Kenyan Bernard Kipyego in the 10km road run.

Kiprop had together with Kipyego and France's Hassan Lahsinni taken the lead in the race that attracted over 30 elite runners.
