THREE children have won sh100,000 in The New Vision’s Cashlines game. Christine Tendo, 14, Valentine Mirembe, 13, and Junior, 7, have been playing the game since it kicked off last Monday, according to their mother, Keziah Zziwa.

“Mirembe and Junior circled the last two numbers on Tuesday,” Zziwa, the head teacher of Kawempe Teachers Primary School, said.

“I taught them how to play but did not expect them to win money. I did not know it was that easy to win.”

Zziwa, who buys The New Vision’ daily, has six game cards, which they hope will yield more cash prizes.
“Giving back to loyal supporters is a great idea,” Zziwa said at The New Vision’ head office where she received the money on behalf of her children.

The trio will use the money to top up their school fees, an elated Zziwa said.
Mirembe, Tendo and Junior played Cashlines last year but did not win.
A total of sh1.5m has been won in the month-long game, leaving sh18.5m up for grabs.

Circulation manager Danny Kawuma said game cards could only be picked from The New Vision’ offices countrywide.

“Inserting cards in the newspaper ended last Wednesday,” he added.
To play, one has to get a card, proceed to page two of The New Vision’ where a list of numbers will be published.

A reader circles the numbers on a horizontal line that correspond with those on the advertisement on page two.
One wins when the numbers on a horizontal Cashline are circled.

The tokens on the advertisements should be placed at the back of the game card. Cards with 28 coupons will be eligible for the grand draw on June 10 in which the unclaimed prizes will be won.
