ALL ministers in the cabinet of Alur Kingdom have resigned

ALL ministers in the cabinet of Alur Kingdom have resigned, reports Ayiga Ondoga.

The task of running the cultural institution now rests with chief (Rwoth) Philip Ubimu Olarker Rauni III, who recently returned home from the UK.

The kingdom’s prime minister (Jadipu), Prince Angala Opar Jalsonge II last week announced the resignation during a press briefing in Kampala.

“The directors and all cultural envoys have also resigned,” he said.
Angala, did not say why the leaders had quit.

But sources from the kingdom seat at Kaal Atyak in Nebbi district, told The New Vision that Rwoth Rauni had sacked some of the ministers due to abuse of office.

Besides Angala, the others who quit are executive secretary Peter Uchanda, attorney general Sylvester Opar Donge, finance, public investments and works minister Alfred Olwora, minister of health promotion and medical research Dr. Ben Ochora and that of home affairs, Florence Alarango.

The others are Tom Alva Acam (literacy and vocational development), Gilbert Kermundu (lands and natural resources), Alfred Ringe (information, ICT and external relations), Emmanuel Ongiertho (energy and industrial development) and Lawrence Ngabiyika (culture, gender and community development).
