THE man, whose family was killed last week, has died. Kasim Katagira of Kitojo village in Nyabubare sub-county died in Mbarara Hospital on Wednesday.

THE man, whose family was killed last week, has died. Kasim Katagira of Kitojo village in Nyabubare sub-county died in Mbarara Hospital on Wednesday.
Katagira’s wife Sarah and his two children, Kyojo,3, and 18-month-old Bonde, were burnt to death by unknown attackers.
Katagira escaped from the burning grass-thatched house with several cuts on his head. Katagira’s other brothers, Chris Kwatagye and Hassan Muhebwe, who were living in a nearby house, were also hacked with a panga.
The district criminal investigations officer, Stanley Owor, said they had arrested Katagira’s brother Shaban Mbahweze, to help them with the investigations.
