Before the dust whipped up by Wine’s latest acquisition, a posh Cadillac Escalade has hardly settled, Yawe has acquired another highly prized, fuel-guzzling road monster, a navy blue, 2006 model Chevrolet registration number UAK 764D, from the USA, where he was based for a while.
Yawe has pimped his ride, which he claims cost him a cool $60,000 (sh96m without taxes), to include a microwave, DStv and Internet. Snoops say the Kati Onoba singer uses it when he is on tour with the Dream Galz, his latest musical protégés.
Yawe’s car is so similar to Wine’s monster that Kamwokya residents, who have never gotten over Wine’s car, mistake it for the latter. Hmmm.
