Fans storm N’bi for Safari rally
Over 50 Uganda rally fans have left for Nairobi this morning to cheer their home boys in the KCB Safari Rally, 2008 due this weekend. The team, headed by FMU spokesperson Hajji Juma Nkambwe, drove off from the Constitutional Square at 6am. Nkambwe said that they left early because they wanted to be in time for the rally.

Ugandan trio survey route
Three top Ugandan rally drivers, Riyaz Kurji, Emmanuel Katto and Jas Mangat yesterday joined other drivers to survey the route ahead of start of the KCB Safari Rally at KICC in Nairobi tomorrow.
Kurji, driving a Subaru Impreza N10, has been seeded third in the event that has attracted 39 drivers, including 14 foreigners. Katto with his state-of-the art Subaru Impreza N14 will leave the ramp in sixth position with Jas Mangat (Subaru N10) starting at 14.

FLY540 offers bikes lift to N’bi
A FLY540 airline has offered to fly two bikes for the team of Ugandan Bikers Association for the Schweppes Africa Concours d’Elegance competition at Nairobi Race course, Kenya September 28. John Montgomery and another yet to be named, will take part in the annual event. FLY540’s publicist, Bob Dewar, said the motorcycles will be carried by the airline’s F27 cargo aircraft.
