MBALE-The Police are investigating an incident in which a mob killed two men suspected of breaking into a shop in Nakaloke village on Monday night. Area Police chief Abbey Kisubi named one of the suspects as Bernard Mafabi, a resident of Bunandutu village but did not have details of the other. Kisubi, who condemned the mob’s action, said no arrests had been made.

NGO offers Soroti sh89m
SOROTI-Sight Savers International, a British NGO, has given the district sh89m to construct a resource centre. The chief administrative officer, George William Omuge, said Madera School for the Blind had been identified as the location for the project. He said the centre would be equipped with gadgets for the blind.
