City lawyer Oscar Kambona has not recorded a statement with the Police, a week after he said he feared former internal security chief Brig. Henry Tumukunde would harm him.
Deputy CID Director Moses Balimwoyo said: “If he does not report, how can we investigate the case?†Kambona could not be reached for comment as his phone was off.
He claims Tumukunde, who was his client for five years, engaged him in a scuffle at his home and forcefully took him to hospital to “get treatment†for a mental condition last Friday. He said he feared he was being kidnapped.
