ANTONIO Carlo, the Spanish agent slammed for pioneering Laszlo Csaba ill-timed move to Scottish side Hearts has pounced again. This time round, Carlo is plotting a lucrative move to Malta for his other client who is also Nalubaale FC coach Marin Dorian. The 2007 league debutantes have learnt of the plot and are fighting to hold onto the Romanian.

"We are still fighting to keep him. We refused to terminate his contract," club CEO Isaac Mukasa stated yesterday.
“Malta were ready to compensate us for only his remaining year but the amount is less than what we have spent on him since he joined us, we need more than what they were willing to table.”

Dorian’s transfer intensions come to light barely a week since Carlo initiated Csaba’s transfer to Hearts.

FUFA boss Lawrence Mulindwa lambasted Carlo as a ‘confusing figure’ and behind the German's new job.

And while Hearts had pledged to offer FUFA a compensation package worth £120,000 (sh396m) for Csaba, the latest revelations are that there is no guarantee this will be done.

The 44-year-old Csaba claims that FUFA had breached its contract with him.
In the event of Csaba’s escapades, Nalubaale though claim to have learnt their lessons.

“We have a season left with him and thought we would keep him after but we might have to reconsider our position on the basis of the events happening,” Mukasa said.

“We don’t want to find ourselves in a position that federation is.”
Dorian returned from prolonged holiday last week.

Nalubaale spent a whooping sh118m, inclusive of one-year long wages to lure Dorian who had been out of contract with the Eritrean national team.

Meanwhile, Csaba got his Tynecastle tenure off to an uninspiring start on Monday as his team drew 1-1 with Irish Premiership part-timers Glentoran in Belfast.

Playing for the Umbro Cup, Glentoran actually won the game on penalties.
Csaba later said: “I want the team to be able to play two or three different formations and it will take a little time for them.”
