AS he was applying for a loan from his employer to buy a car, Tom Akuma, a banking officer with Centenary Bank, won Pepsi’s first RAV4.

“I am speechless. I thank God for this luck and Crown Beverages for giving us such a wonderful opportunity to transform our lives,” he told a press conference in Kampala. Akuma bought Mirinda Fruity last Sunday at the taxi park and found the prize under the crown.

The vehicle is among the 12 RAV4s to be won during the on-going sh1b “Chamuka with Mirinda and Win” promotion.

Aggie Konde, the Pepsi marketing manager, congratulated Akuma and urged him to continue trying his luck.
“Everybody is a winner and there are no limitations on how many chances one has to win,” Konde said.

Konde urged the public to disregard any crowns without the word Chamuka irrespective of any amounts of money or prizes written underneath.
