URA FC is plotting to return Patrick Ochan whom they sold to St George of Ethiopia last season. St. George is said to be asking for $10,000 (sh16m) for the attacking midfielder.

The player, who was also recalled to the Cranes squad which will soon regroup for the World Cup/African Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger, is already training with the taxmen.

URA team manager Edrisa Ssessanga has confirmed the development. He said that they had given Ochan the task of securing his International Transfer Certificate from the Ethiopian soccer federation to enable him return to the club.

Ochan who still has a year to see out his contract with St George, reportedly told URA officials that he wanted to quit because he does not get enough playing time.

“He (Ochan) wants to come back and we have told him to get his ITC from St George. He is with us at the moment but they (St George) are asking for too much money,” Ssessanga said yesterday.

URA sold the player for about $5000 (sh8m).

Meanwhile the Super League continues today with Kakira hosting Bugerere.
