SIX Super Division soccer League games will be played today, but none will generate as much passion and interest as URA’s nerve-gripping visit to champions KCC FC.

The concealed truth is that recent clashes between the two institutional clubs have never been short on tension and drama and the numbers expected to flock Nakivubo Stadium for the teams first meeting this season should expect a titans’ duel.

The KCC faithful are undoubtedly riding high in confidence following their 20-match unbeaten run under George Nsimbe that spilled from their previous title-winning season.

Their match-winning flair in their first five outings of the season has provided extra belief in addition to raising the bar very high for their opponents.

However, while the yellow submarine could be revelling over their flattering statistics, they ought to be reminded that the enemy for them, URA, possesses all the hallmarks of a potential party-spoiler.

KCC lead the league with URA in second position.

URA coach Moses Basena has done commendable work with the tax collectors since quitting KCC, winning five and drawing one of his season matches.

He has handled his team’s groundwork with tact and there is a general feeling of goodwill among the players.
