David Arinaitwe, who accused Pastor Isaac Kiwewesi of Kasanga Miracle Centre, of sodomising him, has been granted bail. Arinaitwe was charged with the theft of a vehicle belonging to Vianney Ndahura, a church member, in June. Makindye Grade One Magistrate William Tumwine granted Arinaitwe bail on grounds that he produced substantial sureties.

Singer Jose Chameleone, who was admitted at Nsambya Hospital, was discharged on Saturday. “I attribute all this to the Almighty God. Without him, I would be dead,†he said, before leaving the hospital. Chameleone was injured after he fell from his room on the third floor of Impala Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania, last week. About 200 people visited Chameleone in hospital everyday.
