Luciano returned from Italy and re-kindled the romance with Victoria. Vilma planned with Larry to kidnap Daniela again so that they could ask Lisandro for ransom. Federica died and Yesinia was devastated. Lisandro felt sorry for Carlos Raul and told him that Teresita was his real child. Carlos Raul was devastated because he never got the chance to know his daughter before she was kidnapped. Carlos Raul confronted Maria Clara but she said that she was protecting Teresita from Barbara.
Barbara decided that if she can’t have Carlos Raul no one else will so she reported Carlos Raul to the police for harbouring a child illegally. The detective went to the house and Carlos Raul lied that Daniela was his daughter. Maria Clara went to Carlos Raul’s house for dinner to meet Daniela. Daniela took to her immediately and started calling her mama. Ricardo told Barbara that she was starting to bore him and broke up with her. Lisandro asked Maria Clara if she still loved Carlos Raul and she couldn’t deny it. The police arrested Carlos Raul for kidnapping.
Meanwhile, Larry and Vilma kidnapped Daniela. Maria Clara saw them and followed their car. They went to an abandoned building. The police arrived but Larry threatens to throw Daniela off the building if they came after him. Will they save Daniela in time?

Erasmo apologised to Chan for swindling him. Chan however told Sergio that he still wanted to have the swindler arrested and jailed. Gloria called Valentine (an old friend) for help. She told him that she wants to buy the Bugilios law firm where Sergio works. She also wanted him to loan her money for the purchase until her inheritance comes through. Valentine asked about Fe, said he had always liked her. Gloria told him that Fe was single and would be interested in him. Meanwhile, Fe got the pictures of Sergio at the hotel and was very upset. She broke down at the school and fainted. The Principle sent her home. Fe called up Gloria and went to the house to see her. Gloria advised her to break up with Sergio if he was causing her trouble already. Fe told her it wasn’t that easy because she loved him and had accepted to marry him. Valentine walked in and Gloria left them alone to catch up. Erasmo went to Piedad’s restaurant pretending to be a business colleague of Chan’s. Piedad seemed to be interested in him and he picked up on it. Erasmo came back later with flowers and had the poor woman blushing. He told her that he was interested in investing in their restaurant. Luisa Fernanda’s new boss tried to force himself on her but his wife saved her ands asked her to find another job to avoid getting defiled like other girls before her.
