MBARARA - The municipal council plans to set up a demonstration farm near its garbage-dumping site at Rwentondo/Kenkombe, east of the town. According to the executive report to council presented by the Mayor Wilson Tumwine last week, the land is underutilised and should be put into productive use.
The district council accepted the report and asked the environment officer, physical planner and the commercial officer to draw a proposal for the plan.
