GRAB the opportunity to win a family members a dinner by participating in the on-going My Family Hero competition by The New Vision. The competition, which closes on December 15 will see one lucky person win a dinner for 20 people.
To participate, write an article of between 800 – 1,200 words on your most cherished family hero or heroine. Being a festive season, it is time to celebrate, but it is also the time that lost ones are remembered, a time of sharing, giving and getting together.
The articles should be sent to The New Vision Features Desk, P.O. Box 9815, Kampala or by email to features@newvision.co.ug. Alternatively, ring telephone number 0414 337188.
The story should be true and involving actual people. Pictures of the family hero or heroine should be attached to the story.
If the story has been published before, focus on the unknown anecdotes about the hero or heroine.
Well-written stories will be published in The New Vision and a panel of literary experts will select the best. Sending your entries now.
