A-SELF-styled LRA rebel director of psychological warfare, Michael Imata Munduru Amam Mulokony alias king of the Nile has been arrested in Gulu.

Imata had high link satellite communication gadgets and several photographs of top LRA commanders and some members of the peace team. He was found with contacts of some senior commanders of the SPLA and LRA rebels in a notebook and traveling document stamped from the border post of Juba.

Imata claimed he was the one who ordered for the killing of LRA deputy commander, Vincent Otti. “Otti had started working behind us and getting money to build houses in Saudi Arabia and doing business in Khartoum. We kill a few to spare the many,” he told journalists on Thursday at Gulu central police station, where he is being detained.

However, Gulu deputy RDC, Milton Odongo warned people to take note of people who are masquerading as members of the LRA peace team to solicit money from them. “There is a group of youth who are moving around soliciting money from the public with intent to defraud on the pretext that they are members of the LRA peace team,” he said.
