MITYANA-The Police are hunting for residents and boda-boda cyclists who killed a suspect at Ssekanyonyi Police post last week. The officer in-charge of criminal investigations at Mityana Police Station, Angel Okello, said some people had been arrested but more were on the run. The victim, Hassan Ssemakula, was accused of strangling a boda-boda cyclist and stealing his motorcycle.

Buy UPE lunch, govt told
MASAKA-The Government has been asked to save the money meant to print Christmas cards for its officials, for buying lunch in Universal Primary Education (UPE) schools. District Woman MP Sauda Namaggwa said: “It is hurting to see our children going to class hungry when there are so many irrelevant activities the Government is funding.” Namaggwa was addressing district leaders at Hotel Brovad.
