THE Police have insisted that the Democratic Party (DP) will not hold a rally at the Constitution Square in Kampala on Saturday.

THE Police have insisted that the Democratic Party (DP) will not hold a rally at the Constitution Square in Kampala on Saturday.
They have instead advised the party to get an alternative venue, where they will be provided with security.
according to police spokesman Edward Ochom, the party was notified of the development yesterday.
“We want them to inform the Inspector General of Police about the new venue they have chosen and the exact date,†Ochom said.
The party announced that it would conduct a rally and launch a report on the murder of Andrew Kayiira, a freedom fighter.
