But we are gaining momentum and our fans should be sure of surviving the relegation scare. The rhythm is coming,” said Midi assuredly.

2007 calendar
CYCLING-Uganda Cycling Association on Saturday released its 2007 calendar including four new sports events. Tour de Egypt that will run from February 6 in Cairo, Tour de Libya in Tripoli on March 6, B World Championships in South Africa in June and Tour de Lake, that starts in Nairobi and ends in Kampala are the new events on the schedule.

Council meets
CRICKET-Uganda Cricket Association council convenes today to draw out the calendar for the 2007 season. Club delegates assemble at Lugogo to review the 2006 season as they plan for the 2007 tournaments. The national team committee is also expected to present its programme to the council before the final calendar is drawn.

Majid gala
SOCCER-The Magid Musisi memorial gala will take place on January 13 at the Kyadondo rugby ground according to the organisers. The gala that will help fundraise for the late’s family and also raise funds to construct a monument for the only Ugandan player to feature in Europe.
