FOR CARDINAL

Artiste Annet Nandujja of the Planets has composed a song for Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala, the retired archbishop of Kampala archdiocese. The song titled, Kalidinaali Wamala, praises the prelate for his unique qualities of humility, simplicity, wisdom, prudence and leadership. The song is spiced with the rhythmic Ganda Baakisimba vibes. Nandujja sang the song for the Cardinal at a thanksgiving party organised for him by Christ the King Church, at Mayor’s Gardens in Kampala, recently.

SAPIENTIA’S MAKUMBI LAUNCHES ALBUM
Radio Sapientia sports presenter, Mark Augustine Makumbi, has joined the family of local artistes with a musical release.
Makumbi launched his album, ‘Kubombi Mpaseeko Ani? (which of the two should I marry?) during the radio’s fans’ end-of-year party at the radio’s studios in Nsambya on December 31. The concert featured several artistes.

BROTHER MUKASA TO
LAUNCH ALBUM

Rev Bro Robert Mukasa of the Brothers of Christian Instruction, has released a new album. The Gospel CD, ‘Zidoolo’ contains eight songs in African dance hall, reggae, zouk and R&B. The album, which was recorded at Dream Studios, is available at Uganda Martyrs’ High School Lubaga, Christ the King Church Bookshop and Lubaga Parish Bookshop. It will be launched at Youth Sharing Hall Nsambya on January 14.

ADVENTIST CHORAL GROUPS AT REST GARDENS
A concert featuring prominent Adventist artistes/choral groups will take place at Rest Gardens, Bweyogerere on Sunday, starting at 12:00pm. Performers will include choral groups like The Gospelaires, Canaanites, Juliet Wabwire and the Golden Gate Choristers.


FRED SSEBATTA TO STAGE CONCERT IN GAYAZA
Kadongokamu star, Lord Fred Ssebatta, will stage a concert at GayazaTaxi Park on Sunday, starting at 3:00pm. The show,
dubbed ‘Teriba Ddogo’, will also feature his former music rival, Dr Fred Ssebbaale and other artistes.

CACEMCHO IN CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The Catholic Centenary Memorial choir (CACEMCHO) will stage a Christmas concert at Lubaga Cathedral on Sunday, starting at 2:00pm. The choir will perform Christmas carols and traditional songs.
