Imposing RnB singer, Desire Luzinda, has released Nkomyewo, her latest impressive single.

The 22-year-old WBS TV presenter and budding singer, stormed the music scene about a year ago with two worthwhile, but hardly groundbreaking singles, Nakoowa Emikwano and Weekend Party, which features Mr Mosh.

Currently, Luzinda seems focused on becoming one of the next hot items on the local RnB music landscape. She is not the top-flight RnB star that she wants to be, but she might well be there pretty soon.

The gorgeous singer has been performing Nkomyewo at concerts around town, and the song should be coming to your favourite radio station very soon.

According to recent media reports, Nkomyewo was initially slated to be sung by the Obsessions, but Luzinda snatched it from the all-girl RnB outfit after the latter offered the songwriter more money than what the Obsessions had.

On this song, Desire employs production skills of No End Studio’s Henry Kiwuuwa. (Kiwuuwa is also the man behind Iryn Namubiru’s monster hit, Nkuweeki) The message in this song is clear-cut – a woman re-affirms her love and commitment to the man she had previously ditched.

Indeed, this song has imprints of a hit. A catchy melody, a danceable beat, simplicity in the lyrics and hooks that fans can easily identify with.
