THE cashlines game is back and like last year, lucky New Vision readers can win cash prizes worth sh20m.

Sales and marketing manager Tony Glencross yesterday announced that the game kicks off on Sunday, January 28 and ends on February 24.

“The game is meant to reward readers and give them an opportunity to win cash. This is a fun game. Participation is easy and everyone has a chance of winning,” he told the press at the company headquarters in Industrial Area.

“The prize will assist parents as students go back to school.”

To participate, buy a copy of The New Vision, pick a game card and look out for the numbers on Page Two. If any number corresponds with that on the game card, circle it.

One automatically becomes a winner once all the numbers on a given horizontal row are circled, Glencross explained. That lucky person then wins the amount on that row.

“Our aim is to give away all the sh20m. People from all regions of the country have a chance of winning. This is a national game in a national newspaper,” he emphasised.

Those who miss their copy of The New Vision need not worry as all numbers for a particular week will be running in Sunday Vision.

To kick-start the game, The New Vision will give out free game cards in all copies of the New Vision and Sunday Vision, as well as hand-outs in several parts of the country next week. Agents will also have the cards.

Readers, who would not have won anything during the four weeks, would still be eligible for the grand draw in which all unclaimed prizes will be given away. To qualify, one has to cut out a token from Page Two in the daily paper, paste it onto the back of the game cards.

If all the space is filled and one has not won, readers can send their game cards to The New Vision. All cards received would be eligible for the grand draw.

Present at the launch were circulation manager Danny Kawuma, circulation administrator Margaret Wamweta, prestigious knight fellow and consultant Bill Ristow, sales and promotions executive Rhona Kanabahita and the central region sales manager, Joseph Lwanga.
