WHAT should have been a regular trip to Kenya for a professional boxing fight, has turned into a passionate love affair for American Latticia ‘Baby Girl’ Robinson

‘Baby Girl’ has fallen for Kenya Professional Boxing Commission chairman, Stanley Livondo.

She told a stunned Kenya television audience that it was “love on first sight” after her first trip to the country in December. Robinson said she is ready for marriage and would start fighting for Kenya as soon as her nationality status is sorted out.

The World Boxing Association middleweight champion confirmed that she will wear gloves for her new country, Kenya, once she settles down after Livondo delivers a “matrimonial punch”.

“I was proposed to by my new Kenyan man three days before Christmas, Our intimacy, that saw us spend time together at the coast has virtually sealed our marriage plans,” Robinson said in an interview with Citizen Television.

Robinson came to Nairobi on December 12 when she fought fellow countrywoman Yvonne Reiss in a WBA encounter she easily won.

Robinson intends to fight Mohammed Ali’s daughter Laila next. She says plans are on for the middleweight fight to be held in Kenya.
