Commercial Micro Finance (CMF) employees have donated clothes to over 400 orphans of Kyanja Orphan Centre in Nakawa, Kampala.

The clothes were handed over to the beneficiaries by CMF’s marketing officer, Barbara Mulumba, and Patience Mbabazi.

The centre looks after 800 orphans and also educates them. It has been in existence for three years.
Mbabazi said: “The donation was part of employee’s initiative to ensure that we give back to the community the little we have and thank them for supporting us.”

She said all the staff had contributed to the donation.
Mbabazi advised parents to instill a saving culture in their children by opening up a Junior Saving Account.

The marketing officer, Barbara Mulumba, said they had been giving back to the community for several years.

“It is our policy to give back to our customers,” she said.

Mulumba appealed to the community to deposit and save with CMF because it is effective.
Some of CMF’s branches are in Mukono, Owino, Bwaise, Parliamentary Avenue, Paidha and Mbale.
