Cashlines competition approaches climax

AS the cashlines game comes to an end, three people, one of them a shop attendant, yesterday won sh500,000. Judith Mirembe, 23, a shop attendant in Iganga, won sh300,000 while David Kaahwa of Ntinda, a Kampala suburb and Kasim Kakonge of Kawempe got sh100,000 each.

AS the cashlines game comes to an end, three people, one of them a shop attendant, yesterday won sh500,000. Judith Mirembe, 23, a shop attendant in Iganga, won sh300,000 while David Kaahwa of Ntinda, a Kampala suburb and Kasim Kakonge of Kawempe got sh100,000 each.

They received their money from ’s circulation boss, Danny Kawuma and the field sales manager, Joseph Lwanga, at the company headquarters in Industrial Area.

An overjoyed Mirembe said: “I am so happy. I think I deserved this cash prize because I read The New Vision everyday.” She added that she would spend the money on her fees.
Over 30 lucky readers have won prizes amounting to sh9.1m out of the sh20m that was up for grabs. A grand draw for all the unclaimed prizes will be held on March 6.

Promotions executive Rhona Kanabahita urged readers to participate in the grand draw.

“People should send cards with all the 28 coupons before March 4 in order to qualify for the draw,” she advised.
