With the increasing trends in lady’s dressing, a dress top is the latest addition onto the market.

Hellen Kayemba, a dealer in second-hand clothes at St. Balikudembe Market, says a dress top is a good evening wear that can be worn by any woman regardless of size.

They are available in first and second-hand clothes. Their prices differ according to the shopping location, but the second-hand ones are more expensive, ranging from sh10,000 to sh20,000. The first-hand cost between sh5,000 and sh15,000.

Some first-hand dress tops come with their skirts, but most people prefer wearing them separately.

“The tops can be worn by pregnant women since they are free. A dress top hides the person’s shape,” she says.
Dress tops match best with round skirts, tight and pedal trousers.
