Uganda Karate Federation is training six karatekas for the Union of Federations of African Karate championships in Johannesburg March 21-25. Anwar out of Safari rally
Reigning KCB Safari Rally champion Azar Anwar has pulled out of this year’s March 9-11 event. Anwar, who is also the national rally champion, cited lack of resources as the main reason for stepping down from the 50th edition of the rally.

SDCA calling
The Super Division Clubs Association belated elections will be held tomorrow at FUFA House. Godfrey Kisekka, tipped to replace Col. Jackson ‘Bell’ Tushabe who opted out before the polls aborted in January, is still the front-runner. But Tushabe has warned he would return in case controversy got back to the once vibrant association.

Mbale District Football Association has disqualified Bukonde FC from the First Division league after failing to honour fixtures while Kobil FC has merged with Industrial FC. MDFA’s Moses Wagambula confirmed both the disqualification and the merger.
