ANYONE who has information on the whereabouts of four-year-old Junior Imran Ahamed will be rewarded with sh10m. Imran Ahamed Senior, the boy’s father, announced the bounty yesterday.

He explained that his son was kidnapped near their home in the city suburb Najjanankumbi on Entebbe Road as he was returning from school at around mid-day on Friday.

The boy, a pupil at Waterford Nursery School, was grabbed from the family maid after a scuffle, Ahamed Senior said.
According to the Police, two kidnappers armed with a short-gun were travelling in a green Toyota Corolla car with a concealed number plate when they approached the family car from the opposite direction.

They pounced on the boy who was seated with the maid in the back seat.
“A scuffle ensued before the men over-powered the maid and sped off with the kid,” Ahamed Senior said.
The boy’s pair of shorts, stockings and shoes remained behind.

By yesterday, investigations had not yet yielded positive results, the Kampala Extra regional crime commander, Muhammad Atepo, said.
