NOW that he has made his name in music, UK-based Ugandan dancehall artiste Fada Pest is turning his attention to acting. Fada is the lead actor in a new Ugandan movie titled Thunder Bolt.

The film was shot in London by Fada’s Nubian Films, a two-year-old company, which also distributes his music.
In the movie, Fada plays a drug kingpin gone straight. In their fight against junkies, the Police enlist Fada’s help.
Fada complies but soon finds himself torn between two conflicting loyalties. Which way will he go?
The movie is expected to premiere in London at the end of June, but there is no word yet on when we are getting to see it in Uganda.
