MOVEMENT mobiliser and Capt Mike Mukula’s senior aide, Mondo Mugisha, narrowly survived death when he was attacked by unknown thugs at Bulenga on Mityana Road recently.

The attackers, who rode boda boda motor cycles besieged Mondo’s car at around 8:00pm and smashed the windscreen of his Toyota Cresta with heavy stones.
“I noticed that they had followed me from Nakawuka where I had a meeting with some Movement supporters. However, I did not know they were after me,†a miserable Mugisha told our snoops. Police spokesman Asan Kasingye confirmed the incident and said they were investigating the matter. Mondo’s theory is that the attackers are from a rival political party.
