Kabwegyere, what about CHOGM?
What is my MP, Prof. Tarsis Kabwegyere of Igara west doing to make sure that we also benefit from CHOGM?
- Opande Ochieng, Igara.

A- That simply is not my role. Definitely as a country, we shall benefit from foreign exchange. He should ask me how he should benefit from Bonna Bagaggawale. People are fighting CHOGM, thinking that they will not benefit but after the summit, everybody will recognise the benefits.
- Prof. Tarsis Kabwegyere, MP Igara west

Ndaula’s take on Mabira Forest
What is the view of my MP for Kiboga West, Ndawula Kawesi, on giving away Mabira Forest to Mehta for sugarcane growing?
- Paddy Byekwaso, Masodde

A- I do not support Mabira give- away. One of the reasons is that I look at Mabira as a natural forest and the technology we have today cannot detect which natural ingredients in that forest we may miss if it is cut down. The forest should be left intact. It is not legally tenable because the Government is simply a trustee.
- Ndawula Kawesi, Kiboga West MP

No banks in Yumbe district
What is the MP for Yumbe district, Huda Oleru, doing about the issue of banks in Yumbe? We are tired of moving to Arua and other districts for banking services.
- Patrick Anguti

A- Ever since the banking system was privatised, we have faced that problem. Those are the effects that came with that policy. But Centenary Rural Development Bank has promised to open up a branch and I think that problem will be solved.
- Huda Oleru, Woman MP Yumbe
