IT will be a musical battle between the Eagles Productions and Diamonds Productions as the B2K Nite returns to Club Volts, Entebbe, tonight.

The Eagles’ Haruna Mubiru and Diamonds’ Rebecca Jjingo will be the highlight. Revellers should also expect more performances from a select number of upcoming artistes.

Entrance is sh5,000.

This night, which debuted in March, happens every last Friday of the month. B2K Nite features only Ugandan music, spiced up with live performances from top local artistes.

There will also be a cocktail served to those who turn up early enough, while lucky club-goers will get a chance to win some freebies.

The night is also dedicated to Rasta Rob MC, one of Uganda’s hottest DJs in the nineties. Rob, who relocated to England a few years ago, is reportedly ailing.

So tonight, many songs will be played in his memory. “We shall take you back in time.

Brace yourselves for olden local hits like Bundu and One Kilometre by Shanks Vivi Dee, Rasta Wange (Tshaka Mayanja), Bamusakata (Ragga Dee) and Kiri Kiri Mabere (Rasta Rob),” promises Rafshizzle, the night’s MC.

“But we shall also have the latest hits from top local artistes.”
