PADER-A radio station was opened on Friday to serve the north and South Sudan. Radio Pa-Lwak was started by the Uganda Australian Foundation based at Awere sub-county. The group director, Francis Odida, said the radius of coverage is at least 100 miles (about 150km). He added that the station would be commissioned by President Yoweri Museveni at the end of the month. Odida said the equipment was donated by the governments of Iceland Denmark and Australia.
